On 6th July Menlhai Jamtse Ling joyfully celebrated the auspicious occasion of the 91st Birthday of His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama in Mumbai. The celebration began with the ceremonial welcome and enthronement of the portrait of His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama, followed by a traditional lamp-lighting ceremony and a mandala offering. All attendees then offered khatas (ceremonial scarves) to the portrait of His Holiness as a symbol of respect, devotion, and heartfelt prayers. The program included a brief introduction to the life and inspiring biography of His Holiness, followed by presentations on his extraordinary contributions to world peace, compassion, interfaith harmony, universal human values, and the preservation of Tibetan culture and Buddhism. Menlhai Jamtse Ling successfully organised the auspicious Vesak Day Celebration at The Classique Club, Andheri West, on 1st May 2026 in Mumbai. This sacred occasion commemorates the birth, enlightenment, and parinirvana of Lord Buddha. The programme included teachings, prayers, healing sessions, and blessings offered by Rinpoche la and the Venerable Geshe las. More than 100 participants attended the celebration, including members of Menlhai Jamtse Ling Centre, Singapore Sanghas, and Dharma friends of Menlhai Jamtse Ling.
